Most coaching platforms will not tell you what they keep until you have signed up. Here is the whole grid, on one page, with nothing behind a login. Your rate depends on two things you control: your coach level, and your subscription.
What GAPLESS keeps, in one table
Metafy does not publish its rate. Fiverr takes about a fifth and does not break it down. This is ours, whole: your commission depends on your coach level and on your subscription, and on nothing else. There is no hidden tier and no negotiated deal.

Hard floor: commission never goes below 5%, whatever happens. The referral programme rewards the referrer with one free AI cut; it does not buy commission points.
Your level is recomputed from the coaching hours you actually delivered over a full calendar month, and it applies from the first day of the month after. It never changes mid-month, so your commission does not either. It is not bought, and it is not awarded on request except for the last one.

You set your own hourly rate; GAPLESS never sets it for you. The prices below are four reference points, not a market rate and not a recommendation. Read the row that is closest to what you already charge.

The booking fee goes to GAPLESS. It is never taken out of your share, and it does not count in the commission base. The levels are earned by coaching: Beginner - Where every coach starts. No review, no waiting, no minimum rank. Intermediate - Reached on the coaching hours you deliver in a calendar month, and applied the month after. Lost again the month after one that falls short. Certified - Granted on request, after a manual review. Once you have it, it is never taken away automatically.
The infrastructure, not an audience
GAPLESS will not hand you students, and this page is not going to pretend it does. What it replaces is the half of coaching that is not coaching: the scheduling, the payment, the chasing. Everything below exists today and is included on the free plan unless stated otherwise.
gapless.gg/c/your-name, public and shareable, with your games, languages, rate, presentation, media and reviews. Every coach gets one, on every plan. It is the link you drop in a Discord bio instead of explaining your rates again.
Publish your slots, set recurring availability, block holidays. A booked slot locks itself and both of you get notified. No back and forth in DMs to find an hour.
The player pays when booking. Nobody haggles, nobody forgets, nobody pays you late. Refunds and disputes are handled by the platform, not by you in a Discord DM.
Keep track of who you coach and what you worked on. Sell multi-session packs, and coach a whole team in one session with the price split between its members.
Upload a VOD and review it with your student. Paid plans add AI helpers: session scripts, automatic highlight cuts and AI Studio videos, with a monthly quota per plan.
Coaching happens on Discord, in the channel you agree on. Link your Discord account and a channel is created for each session automatically.
Anyone can coach. Not everyone can be paid.
GAPLESS does not curate its coaches and does not employ them. Create your profile, list the games you know, publish your availability: you are live. Players judge you on your rank and on the reviews left by students who actually booked you.
GAPLESS pays a declared business, never a private individual, and handles nobody's tax or social contributions. You can create your profile and sell without a payout account: the money waits in escrow until your account is ready.
If you do not have a business yet, you are not stuck outside: publish a slot or a pack at 0 EUR. A free session goes through no checkout at all, so it needs no payout account. It is also the honest way to get your first reviews. Free hours do not count towards your coach level, so nobody can farm their way to a lower commission.

Do I need a registered business to coach on GAPLESS?
To be paid, yes. GAPLESS pays a declared business, never a private individual, and handles nobody's tax or social contributions. You do not need one to start: you can create your profile, publish your slots and take bookings before your payout account is ready, and the money waits in escrow until it is. You can also publish a slot or a pack at 0 EUR, which goes through no checkout and needs no payout account at all.
When do I get paid?
The player pays at booking, and the full amount goes to GAPLESS rather than straight to you, so nothing can be charged back on you before the session has happened. Your share sits in escrow, minus commission, and you can see it before the session takes place. Once the session is delivered the hold expires and the payout is sent to your Stripe account. Coach Elite gets accelerated payouts. A refund or a dispute freezes the payout instead of settling it against you.
What rank do I need to become a coach?
None. There is no rank requirement, no diploma and no interview: GAPLESS does not curate its coaches and does not employ them. You must be at least 15, the French digital consent age, and that is checked server-side. Players judge you on the rank you display and on reviews left by students who actually booked you.
What does GAPLESS take on a session?
Between 20% and 6% of the price you set, depending on your coach level and your subscription. The full grid is on this page, with no hidden tier. Commission never goes below a hard floor of 5%, enforced server-side. The booking fee the player pays on top goes to GAPLESS; it is never taken out of your share and it does not count in the commission base.
