REGULATIONS

By accessing the GAPLESS platform and creating an account, you declare that you have read, understood and accepted these rules in full. GAPLESS is a marketplace connecting esports coaches with players who want to improve at their game.

Minimum age: access to GAPLESS is allowed from 15 years old, the digital consent age in French law. The age is declared once and checked on the server. An account declaring an age below 15 is deleted, and nothing is kept from it beyond an anonymous entry in a refusal log.

Each user signs up under one of these roles:

• Player: searches and books coaching sessions with GAPLESS coaches.
• Coach: offers coaching services, sets their own prices and manages their availability.
• Player & Coach: both roles on a single account. The rules of each role apply independently, depending on the activity carried out.

Each user may hold one active account only. Creating multiple accounts to evade a sanction is punishable by a permanent ban. Verifying your email address is required to access every feature.

Each user is personally responsible for keeping their credentials confidential. GAPLESS cannot be held liable for unauthorized access due to negligence.

A coaching session is a reserved slot between a player and a coach via GAPLESS. A booking is a request: the payment is taken and the slot is held straight away, but the session is only confirmed once the coach has accepted it.

Session flow:

• The player selects a coach, a game and an available slot.
• Payment is made at booking via Stripe. The slot is held and the coach is notified.
• The coach accepts or declines. Accepting confirms the session; declining refunds the player in full, booking fee included. Without an answer 24 hours before the slot, the booking is cancelled and refunded automatically.
• The session takes place on the platform or via the agreed channel (Discord, etc.) per the coach's preferences.
• After the session, player and coach rate each other via the integrated review system.

Cancellation policy: a cancellation 24 hours or more before the session gives a full refund. Between 6 and 24 hours before, half the session price is refunded. Under 6 hours, or once the session has started, nothing is refunded. A player who cancels also loses the booking fee. A cancellation coming from the coach always refunds the player in full, booking fee included, however late it happens.

No-show policy:

• Player absent without notice: no refund. A warning is recorded on the account. After 3 unjustified absences, the player account is suspended.
• Coach absent without notice: full automatic refund to the player. A 1-star rating is automatically applied to the coach. After 3 unjustified absences, the coach account is suspended.

The coach undertakes to deliver a session whose quality matches the description on their profile. Any clear breach of that obligation can be reported and is handled by GAPLESS support within 48 hours.

Coaches set their own session prices. GAPLESS takes a commission of 6% to 20% on each transaction, depending on the coach level (Beginner / Intermediate / Certified) and subscription (Freemium / Pro / Elite), and it never goes below 5%. A fixed 0.50 EUR booking fee is charged to the player on each checkout.

Example: for a session priced at 20€ with a Freemium coach at the Beginner level (20% commission), GAPLESS collects 4€ in commission. The coach receives 16€ net on their GAPLESS balance, paid out according to the defined payout schedule.

Premium subscriptions: GAPLESS offers monthly subscriptions for users who want extra benefits.

• Player Pro, 9,99€/month: unlimited favorites, a monthly AI cuts quota, priority booking, advanced filters on coach search, and no service fee on bookings.
• Player Elite, 29,99€/month: everything in Pro, plus 5% cashback on sessions, a higher AI cuts quota and the Elite Discord role.
• Coach Pro, 39,99€/month: custom URL gapless.gg/c/<slug>, up to 5 photos on your profile, AI helpers: 15 scripts, 4 cuts and 7 AI Studio videos per month.
• Coach Elite, 60€/month: everything in Coach Pro, plus priority placement in listings, accelerated payouts, AI helpers: 30 scripts, 8 cuts and 9 AI Studio videos per month (plus one bonus video for every two sessions delivered, capped at 12), and eligibility for Coach of the Month.
• PC Optim, 20€ one-off payment: lifetime access to the GAPLESS PC optimization service. Configuration review, tailored recommendations, access to the dedicated PC Optim Discord server.

GAPLESS reserves the right to change subscription prices with 30 days notice. Existing subscribers keep their current price until the first renewal after the new price takes effect.

All payments on GAPLESS are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS certified partner. GAPLESS never stores your bank details. Accepted payment methods are bank cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and the digital wallets supported by Stripe.

Refund policy:

• Player cancellation 24 hours or more before the session: full refund, credited within 5 to 10 business days.
• Player cancellation between 6 and 24 hours before the session: half the session price is refunded.
• Player cancellation less than 6 hours before the session, or once it has started: no refund. The booking fee is lost on every player-initiated cancellation.
• Coach cancellation, whenever it happens: full automatic refund to the player, booking fee included, credited within 3 to 5 business days.
• Coach no-show without prior cancellation: full refund + penalty applied to coach account.
• Completed session: once the session has taken place, a refund is granted only when the fault lies with the coach or with GAPLESS. Any dispute must be reported within 48 hours of the end of the session.
• Premium subscriptions: a refund is possible within 48 hours of signing up, provided no benefit has been used. After that the subscription is not refundable but stays active until the end of the period.

For any payment dispute, contact GAPLESS support at support@gapless.gg within 48 hours of the incident. After that, GAPLESS cannot guarantee that the refund will be processed.

Becoming a coach on GAPLESS requires team validation. The goal is to guarantee players a constant level of quality and a professional coaching experience.

Application criteria:

• Be at least 16 years old at the time of application.
• Prove a high gaming level (Diamond+ rank or equivalent).
• Provide verifiable proof of results: in-game rank screenshots, profile statistics, and testimonials from former students where available.
• Have proper equipment (stable connection, working mic).
• Accept these rules in full and without reservation, including the commission grid in force.

Applications are reviewed by the GAPLESS team within 3 to 7 business days. A rejection is not final: an applicant may reapply after 3 months with a stronger application.

Coach obligations once approved:

• Maintain regular availability and update the schedule.
• Keep an average rating above 3.5/5. Below that threshold over more than 10 reviews, the profile is put under review by the GAPLESS team.
• Respect players in all circumstances.
• Do not request off-platform payments. Otherwise: immediate ban.
• Inform GAPLESS of any prolonged activity break (>2 weeks).

GAPLESS is a community based on mutual respect and fair play. Any contrary behavior is punishable up to permanent ban.

Forbidden behavior:

• Harassment, insults, intimidation or discriminatory behavior.
• Spam, unsolicited advertising or off-channel solicitation.
• Cheating, use of forbidden third-party software.
• Fake reviews, rating system manipulation.
• Sharing personal data of other users without consent (doxxing).
• Identity theft (player, coach or team member).

Reporting system: any user can report inappropriate behavior through the report button available on every profile and in every session. The GAPLESS team reviews each report within 72 hours.

Scale of sanctions:

• Warning: an official notice recorded on the account. The GAPLESS team can consult the history of warnings.
• Temporary suspension (7 to 30 days): access to the platform is suspended. Sessions in progress are cancelled and refunded to the players concerned.
• Permanent ban: permanent exclusion from the platform. Any remaining coach balance is frozen for a 30-day review period before any residual payout.

Any sanction can be appealed by contacting support@gapless.gg within 7 days of the sanction being notified. The GAPLESS team's decision on the appeal is final.

Content created by coaches on the platform (coaching videos, replay analyses, strategy guides and any other teaching material) remains the exclusive intellectual property of the coach who produced it.

By publishing content on GAPLESS, the coach grants GAPLESS a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, distribute and promote that content on the platform and on the official GAPLESS communication channels (social media, newsletter, etc.), for the sole purpose of promoting the platform and the coach's own profile.

All GAPLESS platform elements (interface, logo, branding, source code) are GAPLESS's exclusive property. Unauthorized reproduction is forbidden.

• A coach can remove their content from the platform at any time by contacting support. Removal takes effect within 7 business days.
• Private session content is only accessible to participants and not used commercially without agreement.
• GAPLESS forbids itself from reselling coach content to third parties without written consent.

GAPLESS complies with GDPR (EU 2016/679). As data controller, GAPLESS commits to process your data transparently, lawfully and securely.

Data collected:

• Identification: email address, the username chosen on the platform, date of birth (for age verification).
• Activity: history of sessions booked and completed, reviews received and left, games played, subscriptions taken out.
• Payments: transaction history (amounts, dates). Bank details are handled exclusively by Stripe and never pass through GAPLESS servers.
• Technical: IP address, browser type, and browsing data anonymized for statistical purposes.

Use of data: the data collected is used solely to run the platform (authentication, bookings, payments, support) and to improve the service. GAPLESS never sells your personal data to third parties.

Your rights:

• Right of access: you can request at any time the list of personal data GAPLESS holds about you.
• Right to rectification: you can correct any inaccurate data directly from your profile or by contacting support.
• Right to erasure: you can request deletion of your account and all your personal data. Deletion takes effect within 30 days, except for data required by law (accounting and tax obligations).
• Right to portability: you can request an export of your data in a readable format.
• Right to object: you can object at any time to your data being processed for marketing purposes.

GAPLESS reserves the right to modify these rules at any time, to adapt to legal changes or new features.

• Any substantial change to the rules is notified to users by email and by an alert banner on the platform, at least 15 days before it takes effect.
• Minor modifications can be made without notice.
• The date and version of the current rules are displayed at the bottom of the page.
• Continued use after a new version takes effect implies acceptance. If you disagree, you can terminate your account free of charge.

These rules are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable settlement, the competent French courts will have jurisdiction. For general enquiries: contact@gapless.gg
